About Alexandre Canhetti

I have strong experience in Engineering, Planning, and Production (over 25 years); consistent academic background in Engineering (Engineer by USP, dual master degrees by University of Michigan and an MBA by EGN); and significant ethical, civic and military education at the Brazilian Navy Academy. After 28 years in the Brazilian Navy, I worked on 4 private shipyards. During my career I performed technical positions (e.g.: Head of Naval Architecture Division and Head of the Department of Marine Engineering), management (e.g.: Planning Manager and Project Manager) and direction (Engineering Director, Production Director and Board of Directors). I was responsible for the construction of several ships and platforms, as well as for the building of Rio Grande Shipyard 2 (ERG 2).
