Mentor
Programming Department Lead
Due to the intense pace of the college exam studies, I decided to give up my team captain position in the team and continued my hard work in the programming department, still helping train new members of our team, building projects to spread STEM and FIRST around the world and enhance my programming skills. I worked on projects such as an obstacle-avoiding path generator for FRC robots using the A* algorithm or a command that allows the robot to shoot notes(game pieces of the 2024 Crescendo game) into the speaker from any location within the designated shooting area by using curve-fitting techniques. I am still working on other projects that strengthen my and my team’s development in the field of STEM.
Team Captain
As a team captain, I was accountable for being an inspirational leader for our team while continuing my hard work in the programming department. While helping spread FIRST and STEM across the globe, recruiting and training rookie members of the team, making sure everybody is having a good time in the team, and managing the team; I was also working on programming projects made in the team such as a better arm control system using feedforward and PID controllers for our robotic arm, a better autonomous routine using Ramsete Controller (trajectory tracker that is built into WPILib that can be used to track trajectories with correction for minor disturbances accurately.), and a 3D pose estimator code using the Apriltags in the FRC Field. After the FRC season, I continued my work by encouraging my team members to do further research to learn new things and develop themselves. We built a Swerve Drive drivetrain (an advanced omnidirectional drivetrain using independently controlled modules for precise multidirectional movement) and developed projects such as Cartesian Robotics Wiki or AI Sign Language Translator to include more people in the field of STEM.
Programmer
I was accountable for programming our self-made FIRST Robotics Competition robot using Java and Wpilib(a Java library made for programming FRC robots). I worked closely with other programmers, mechanics and electronics departments of our team. We used PID controllers for the robot's autonomous period and developed an easy-drive system for the tele-operated period. Although we faced financial and other difficulties, we were quite successful in the competition, becoming the 5th rookie winner in the world and winning many awards.
Performance Tennis Player
Ai Ambassador
I was selected as an Inspirit Al Ambassador and took part in the Al Ambassador program taught by MIT and Stanford graduates
Robotics Developer
As a result of the Riders Robotics League Championship award, I started to work at Riders.ai as an intern, learning and building projects about robot simulations and solving real-world problems using the Godot engine. We work in teams that we made at the beginning of the internship and use Gitlab to skillfully manage our work. We use advanced systems like PID controllers, computer vision, and AI to automate our simulated robots. We also learn about 3D design, using Blender to create our real-world simulations.
