I lead a team of brand designers and manage freelance creatives, including illustrators, animators, and video production houses. I drive creative strategy and concepting for multichannel marketing campaigns, producing digital assets like ads, videos, landing pages, emails, and social content. I maintain Codecademy's visual identity while strategically exploring new creative directions to expand the brand's reach.

As a senior individual contributor, I was the design lead on 90% of creative projects, which required keen multitasking. I developed design libraries, templates, and systems across various tools to enhance efficiency while ensuring consistency and excellence. I also collaborated closely with writers and designers to deliver cohesive creative solutions.

While freelancing, I handled everything from start to finish—putting together proposals, managing my workflow, and collaborating with stakeholders. I worked with a diverse range of clients, including startups, mobile apps, and nonprofits, on projects like logo designs, infographics, and marketing collateral.

Brooklyn

I joined Luster at its startup phase, collaborating closely with the CCO to evolve its visual identity. I designed marketing materials such as sales decks, case studies, brochures, event signage, social content, and ads.

I worked on concepts, original artwork, illustrations, packaging, line sheets and dielines/specs that ultimately were produced by partner factories and pushed to retail. I excelled at multitasking and meeting tight deadlines, as well as communicating with outside parties/vendors across the globe. I was on accounts like Target, Claire's, Michael's and Toys R Us. I was involved in a good amount of pitch work.

I created social media graphics for giants of the entertainment industry (Universal, Sony, Netflix, etc). This includes static graphics, gifs, videos, banners, social skins and other digital materials. I worked directly under the Creative Director. I engaged with the social media director, producers, account managers and other digital designers on a daily basis. At Brigade, I mastered a wide range of graphic styles. We met extremely tight deadlines and produced an incredible amount of work in a fast-paced environment.

Freelanced full-time in-house on web projects including e-mail blasts, website design and online advertising (Facebook, Adroll, Pepperjam). Worked closely with the Creative Director, as well as marketing and E-commerce teams.

I have collaborated on a variety of print and digital projects such as logos, packaging, websites, icons, videos, poster campaigns and books. Companies I've worked with include SWELL NY, Fresh, S Y Partners, Chad Lavigne Studios, VYEA, Rock the Blocks Music Festival, WUVT 90.7 FM, Virginia Tech School of Public and International Affairs, and Virginia Tech College of Architecture and Urban Studies.

Worked both independently and with a team of graphic designers to produce branding and promotional materials for local and national clients, such as Virginia Tech and the US Army. Received feedback from client meetings and art and creative directors. Developed and pitched concepts. Designed logos, license plates, posters, books and brochures.
