I develop and execute strategies that leverage digital technologies in data, analytics, AI, and cloud to transform business with a focus on Energy sector. For over 30 years, I have been solving complex problems with technology and driving value for organizations globally in several industries including energy, mining and metallurgy, financial services, government, healthcare, telecommunication, retail, consumer package goods, transportation, and pharmaceuticals. I am a transformation client partner at TEKSystems Global Services, helping clients internationally implement data and insight capabilities to drive organizational effectiveness and become data driven. My previous experience is as a Director with Omnia AI, Deloitte Canada's Artificial Intelligence Practice, and regional market leader for the prairie provinces. For nearly 6 years I provided leadership and subject matter expertise in the areas of AI strategy, AI insights, data and analytics modernization for clients globally, with a focus on energy and resources. Prior to joining Deloitte I was at SAS for 13 years in consulting, pre-sales, and marketing; most recently as an Enterprise Architect in the SAS Americas Technology practice. I worked with clients across the Americas to solve complex business problems and drive value in use of SAS through expertise in high performance analytics, with an emphasis on modernizing to Hadoop based big data platforms. Previous to SAS I worked for FieldMatrix (currently Mosaic) , DMC Consulting (acquired by AT&T Canada), and Monsanto Pharmaceuticals (acquired by Bayer), all in support of data and analytics.I started my career in decision support as a systems analyst with Noranda, an integrated natural resources organization, supporting mining exploration / operations and implementing financial consolidation systems and decision support systems.
