I'm a photography enthusiast, I was introduced to photography by taking an elective beginning photo class at Johansen High. I then signed up for classes at MJC and applied what I learned the previous year and learned new techniques. Soon I found myself taking a digital photography course and learning Photoshop and the important shortcut keys. Although digital photography is completely different from the darkroom experience, I'm now fascinated by iPhoneagraphy as it's being referred to. I bought an iPhone 4s and began taking photographs everywhere I went. Then I upgraded to a 5 (iPhone) and became even more intrigued by shooting photos. I'm also beginning to take interest in graphic design and how to create vector art with Adobe Illustrator. I took a 3-month internship with Pro West Media Concepts, for graphic design and learned the importance of composition and workflow. By the end of the 8-month program, I hope to become a successful graphic artist and a better photographer.
