With a portfolio of around 250 quality pubs, bars, restaurants and hotels across the UK Orchid Group has annual sales in excess of £175m and EBITDA of £30m. Reporting directly to our CEO I have I have responsibility for the whole spectrum of Retail Services activities including managing our gaming machines, our Retail Audit team and Orchid's I.T..

As an area manager I was responsible for a wide range of operational activities. In addition, I was involved in a number of extra curricula projects including working with IT and Audit. Wetherspoon are industry leaders in process and procedures with a proven record of excellence in delivering retail disciplines.

As a Senior Area Manager with Spirit Group I was responsible for openings in Oak Inns - a food lead country pub offer. My main areas of focus included locating new sites, people and all aspects of opening and developing a new business and offer. This gave me a really good understanding of the pub investment process and allowed me to do what I do best.

I ran a number of restaurants and hotels as a unit manager before moving on to IT as a Senior Business Analyst and then several area manager roles; always with the restaurant division I worked within Toby Restaurants (both Grills and Carveries), Ember Inns and Vintage Inns. A varied and wide ranging 15 year background in all aspects of people & profit.
