As a Senior Trade Expert at the Ministry of Trade, I contribute to the development and implementation of Turkey's trade policy towards the EU Single Market and the Green Deal, with a focus on regulatory alignment, market access, and sustainability. I have over thirteen years of experience in trade policy, having previously worked as a Trade Policy Expert at the Department of Free Trade Agreements, where I participated in the negotiation and monitoring of several bilateral and regional trade agreements, and as a Commercial Attaché at the Consulate General of Turkey in São Paulo, where I supported the promotion and facilitation of trade and investment between Turkey and Brazil. I have a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Columbia University and a Master of Science in European Studies from Middle East Technical University. I am skilled in government, public policy, policy analysis, and international trade. I am passionate about enhancing Turkey's trade relations with its strategic partners and advancing its economic integration and cooperation with the EU and other regions.
