As an Assistant Project Manager in the realm of commercial construction, my role is supporting the project manager but also ensuring project efficiency, and quality, all while upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance.

I worked in the home building industry getting training on how to build quality homes. During this time I shadowed every department of the Coastal Carolina Division so that I could learn how the company has been so successful in closing homes. The first part of the Internship I was with sales, mortgage, design, marketing, land acquisition and development, procurement, resource, and finance. The second part of the internship I was in the field getting training on how to build both the Del Webb product and a Centex product. Towards the ending weeks I took on my own 5 houses and managed them by myself. During this time I learned PCS standard which stands for Pulte Construction Standards. This is a check list that Pulte does to ensure the house is quality and goes above and beyond of what is required by code. I also learned to work with the trades that build houses and the county inspectors. This was an amazing experience and was with knowledgeable people who showed me a great experience.

My primary responsibilities included overseeing and ensuring that rough-in and trim-out were successfully completed in new home construction, installation of temporary power poles, and installation of three-phase electrical panels and disconnects. Also, I have on hands experience in, installation of low voltage lighting and transformers and overall troubleshooting of electrical problems in new construction and existing homes. Other skills include inventory management (electrical) and service call management. My experience is in residential and commercial electric, including three different large amenity centers.
