After 45 years of informal studies of the cantorial arts, and numerous engagements for the High Holy Days as a lead cantor, as well as several year-round interim positions as a cantor, I am happy to be the High Holy Day cantor for a unique and growing 95 year old congregation in Detroit. I am available for short-term or interim engagements at Conservative or Traditional congregations throughout the United States. This may include covering for a cantor on Sabbatical, or taking a leave of absence, or to cover a bimah while a formal search is underway for a full-time cantor. I prefer Conservative or Traditional congregations, as my davening is entirely in Hebrew and unaccompanied by instruments. I enjoy working with a choir, whether volunteer or professional. I am able to accommodate traditional or egalitarian congregations.
