As a Program Manager at Folsom Labs, I led development of webinars, technical research for industry events, and 3rd party validations of HelioScope. I identified opportunities to reengage with customers and promote sustainable brand development. I drove team growth by refining and running our hiring process for the sales/support team with a focus on diverse candidates. To support these new candidates, I redesigned and updated Folsom Labs' existing training process to adapt to their needs and the needs of future additions to the team. These responsibilities were performed while maintaining my previous levels of customer support.

I generated over $1M in sales and helped grow our userbase by over 450% as the host of hundreds of weekly live webinars that trained thousands of incoming users. To support and develop content for our annual S3 conference with GTM, I was the co-author & analyst of the first ever industry survey on software usage. I designed and created a free, publicly accessible technical training series for Heatspring that focused on some of the most common, but difficult to understand issues in solar design. Focusing on education, I also led our collage outreach program to drive free use for students and academic institutions. When our team needed to hire additional employees, I designed and managed the sales team hiring process and policy from the ground up.

In my first role at Folsom Labs I was the point person for highly technical customer queries online, at industry events, and at conferences across the globe. In addition to providing live chat support to thousands of users, I was the host of hundreds of regular live web seminars to train thousands of incoming users & drive hundreds of thousands of dollars in sales every year. In my first year I reduced average issue response time by 70% or more for both chat and email by redesigning our help manual into a dynamic web-based database and creating new support response strategies. I also used this redesign to lay the groundwork for an accreditation system for our software.

Assisted chef Geoffrey Reed with over 60 events at his pop-up Japanese restaurant, Ichido SF. Over the course of these events, I was responsible for front-of-house, dishwashing, sous-cheffing, and everything in-between.

I worked with the Small Commercial team in SunEdison to develop efficient business models for engaging small businesses and communities with solar purchases. As an analyst, I managed up to 5 commercial projects at once. These each required detailed financial and technical reviews while maintaining customer expectations amidst utility rate changes and project redesigns.

As part of SunEdison's Distributed Generation team, I engineered commercial-size solar projects within California for industrial and private use. I was responsible for overall site design, choice of equipment, electrical design, and bringing plansets to permitting stage for over 20MW of commercial projects. In the course of this work I developed design processes to save SunEdison $10M+ annually in materials and installation costs. I was the main tester for SunEdison's internal solar design tool, proving usability and suggesting changes to support future designers. This program reduced development time by 80% for sales and engineering teams alike, and was successfully spun off into FTC's SunDAT software.

As part of SunEdison's summer Solar Development Program (renamed to RELDP), I helped to develop and engineer over 10MW of commercial-size solar projects within California for industrial and private use. While in the program I took on responsibility for running multiple cultural events within the company, and helped decide future strategies for the program.

Served as a grader for Professor Steve Collin's introductory mechanical engineering design course. I was responsible for grading tri-weekly homework assignments, quizzes, and exams.

Taught and planned the curriculum for an accredited semester long class (2 classes per week) focused on teaching students the fundamental techniques for baking. As the instructor of this course, I graded assignments and exams, submitted grades to CMU, managed a budget of $750 per semester and cut costs to $400 Fall 2013 semester while improving the course via variation of recipes and inclusion of new cooking techniques.

Assisted graduate student Daniel Schnitzer by using MATlab to collate and interpret power generator data from Port Au Prince, Haiti, providing new insights into how to operate these plants to optimize efficiency. In addition, I documented transactions for power suppliers in rural India and performed statistical analysis to determine trends in power consumption for each of these areas.

Developed and delivered a critical presentation to the NuAB (NuScale Advisory Board), resulting in increased awareness of desired deliverables and consumer confidence in the product. I created a majority of the conformance matrices for the next company milestone, helping the department to recapture a major deadline. I served as chief administrative officer of NuScale's internal licensing database.

At the Basel Action Network (BAN), I coordinated a partnership between BAN and the Green Sports Alliance (an EPA program), leading to a merging of the programs. This merge constituted a national e-waste policy to be promoted by sports teams and professional athletes along with the other goals of the Green Sports Alliance.

Within the Grants Department of the Region 10 EPA office, I audited current grant activity for all ten regions of the EPA, summarizing intended goals, budget surpluses, budget deficits, rate of spending, and other information to recapture organizational efficiency. I assisted in preparing for the Green Sports Summit by creating the first database of information on all participating companies, sports teams, and high profile individuals. I also completed all projects ahead of schedule, allowing myself to be placed on any and all projects that needed assistance within the department.
