I work alongside the Federal Housing Administration to support efforts to allow seniors to age in place. To that end, I help manage a suite of econometric models used to forecast the value of and asses economic risk to the Mutual Mortgage Insurance Fund, which FHA uses to provide equity to elderly borrowers as a part of one of the largest Liabilty for Loan Gaurantee programs in the US.I'm passionate about economic theory and its cross-section with statistical methodologies to help inform evidence-based policy and business decisions. My graduate work afforded me exposure to a robust catalog of econometric techniques and their application in areas such as time-series forecasting, program evaluation, and international developmental economics. Experience in the consulting space has honed my abilities to communicate complex ideas to non-technical clients and to translate their needs into actionable analysis. My goal is to be a life-long learner and continue developing my econometric toolkit so I can apply those skills to stimulating, mission-driven questions.
