After growing up in the multicultural society of Malaysia, I chose to move halfway across the world to embark on my studies at the University of Sheffield, where I have recently graduated with an MEng. Chemical Engineering with a Year in Industry. For my industrial placement year, I joined the Gartner Master supply chain of Unilever as a member of the Global Robotics and Automation Team, furthermore winning the University of Sheffield's Industrial Placement Prize 2022-23. As part of my degree, I had the opportunity to study a wide range of modules and complete projects with themes regarding some of the world's most complex problems, therefore I am confident that I have the skills to adapt to projects across various industries. Additionally, having recently achieved a first-class grade for my master’s dissertation regarding the mining industry’s transition towards a circular economy, I believe I maintain a strong capability to identify project problems, conduct necessary research, critically analyse data and successfully present solutions to individuals of diverse backgrounds.In addition to my academics at university, I have taken on several responsibilities including being the Academic Representative of the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department, Fundraising Officer for the Women in Engineering Society and a Sheffield Volunteering Community Volunteer.
