Re-wrote existing ASP e-commerce web site using ASP.Net. Administrative and back-end development accomplished with VB.Net and SQL2005. The data used for the financial information web sites was stream-lined and automated using SQL Data Transformation Services, replacing a manual data import, with a mixture of VBScript, TSQL and VB.Net for the administrative and reporting GUI. Performed system analysis on existing 4 server networks in support of their existing e-commerce/membership driven financial information websites. The client had neglected to perform regular system maintenance and wanted to re-fit the infrastructure in alignment with a re-release of the existing websites. Subsequent recommendations were approved and implemented, including a repartitioning of router resources and several new servers creating a fault tolerant and load-balanced environment. The Data environment was also re-structured to accommodate a separated development SQL Server and production server to further enrich the production webs and ongoing development efforts. Network monitoring and performance analysis was also implemented to promote continued tuning and problem awareness and speedy resolution. The entire solution employed utilizing MS Windows Server 2003 Standard and Web editions as well as MS SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005. FreeBSD using a pFsense Firewall was also deployed replacing a low-end Sonic Wall Router, mitigating the need for a large networking hardware investment.

Converted the existing 4 server / 6 workstation Lantastic network to a Windows NT based LAN. Implemented paperless document storage; utilizing a 40 GB HP Optical Jukebox and Xerox Docuscan Image scanners resulting in indexed Adobe Acrobat PDFs accessible to the call center for later retrieval. Accomplished with MS Visual Studio v4.0, authored the Chem-tel Data Retrieval System in conjunction with MS Exchange v5.5 and MS SQL Server v7.0. Performed data migration from client supported data formats (Access, FoxPro, FileMaker Pro, Btrieve, DB2, Informix, mySql, among others) to the company MS SQL Server databases. Responsible for all Hardware and software purchasing and implementation, as well as Network and Helpdesk support. Created the corporate web presence and the company Intranet, in addition to several corporate Extranets with AT&T, Texaco, Bell Atlantic, Verizon, Sara Lee, The State Of Texas, and Rust-Oleum, among others.
