Communication has always been my biggest passion. From early on, I knew I wanted to make a difference in the way people communicate. When I was a kid, I always enjoyed helping my mom, a communication professional, with her PR work. I remember lobbying for better treatment of animals during her time at The Humane Society and planning events for children's advocacy. Experiences like these have driven my passion and have opened my eyes to the possibilities in communication. I have explored many areas to expand my knowledge. I worked as a staff writer at my school newspaper, The Cistern Yard. I have also explored the healthcare industry at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) as a writer for The Catalyst News in the Office of Public Affairs and Media Relations. I hope to use these fantastic experiences that have taught me many life lessons and the magic of communication to create meaningful and strong relationships.
