Dr. Hegab has over 30 years of a diverse range of experience managing the project controls and claims on public, commercial, and construction projects. He served on both sides of the table as a contractor and as an owner representative. He has particularly extensive expertise in project scheduling, claim preparation, claim analysis, negotiations, conflict resolution, and cost estimating and controls. He started the Construction Management Program at California State University Northridge and lead it through two cycles of accreditation from ACCE in addition to being ABET evaluator for Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, and Construction Management.Dr. Hegab taught Public-Private Partnership courses to Caltrans engineers. He is a member of the advisory board of the P3 Task Force of the DRBF (Dispute Review Board Foundation) in North America.He is a Consultant in Construction, and General Commercial and Heavy Construction Claims, including Defects, Delays, Third Party, Surety, and Insured Claims; Consultant for Construction, Development, Cost Control, and Remediation (Investigation, Design, and Repair). Arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association Board of Neutrals (General Commercial, Securities, and Construction Boards).
