    Currently working on a global cross-functional team to transition new clutch technology from the research & technology team to the production team.I am responsible for developing a linear clutch thermal model for use within transfer case control systems, where the primary function is protect the clutch from thermal damage with a secondary function of torque compensation.Previously I was the lead Engineer on the design & development of a new clutch actuation system and clutch control system.Responsible for the engineering, design, prototyping, testing and validation of a clutch actuation system. Performed full magnetic finite element analysis on multiple actuator designs and verified FEA with testing and full correlation analysis.Used Matlab-simulink to develop the full control system model for the actuation system. Performed a full validation and correlation analysis for each subsystem of the control system model and performed concept evaluations for different actuator observer techniques.

I was also responsible for the designed and built a spin loss test stand to measure frictional parasitic losses in transfer cases, driveline components & other torque transferring devices. Previously, I was the lead Engineer on developing torque limiting technology that would allow a mass reduction in the secondary driveline where I performed a mass reduction study to determine the benefits from limiting torque to the secondary driveline.
