Being served as Asst. Manager (Audit & Taxation) for two years at Thar & Co., Chartered Accountants, Bandra, Mumbai I had an opportunity to handle diverse assignments in the field of auditing and taxation in Real Estate, Entertainment, Breweries & Distilleries, Financial & Consultancy Concerns. I had an opportunity to head the Internal Audit Team of Privilege Industries Limited & Guruashish Constructions Pvt Ltd. As a part of Internal Audit Assignments and having been into advisory for various private limited companies I was responsible for looking into compliance with various enactments in the field of Direct Taxes, Indirect Taxes & Labour Laws. Again, as a Team Leader I had competently handled Statutory Audit and Limited Review (under SEBI Guidelines) of Housing Development & Infrastructure Ltd. (HDIL) a premier public listed Real Estate Company. Gained significant exposure in the field of accounts, audit & taxation in my 3.5 years of internship, which included Bank Branch Audits, NGO/ Society/ Charitable Trusts audits, Registration & Compliances under the labour laws, Shops & Establishment Act, Provident Fund Act, ESI Act & Actuary Valuations and other such tax & audit related assignments.
