Was employed by Noble Drilling as a Dynamic Positioning Operator onboard 6th generation DP 3 drillship Noble Don Taylor. Proficient in Kongsberg K-Pos ver. 8.3.1 Dynamic Positioning System, Kongsberg K-Chief 700 VMS/PMS System, K-Safe and Autronica Fire & Gas system, K-Thrust Thruster Control System, cJoy Emergency Joystick system, and fully integrated K-Bridge suite including K-RADAR, K-ECDIS, and all other navigation equipment onboard the vessel. Responsibilities include:•DP watch standing and navigation in accordance with well specific operating guidelines, and master’s standing orders. •Coordination of DP system and bridge equipment maintenance, software and licensing updates, and PRS maintenance.•Ballast control according to current drill floor operations and vessel’s stability parameters.•Navigation and hurricane avoidance planning and preparation in coordination with the Master.•Actively participate in a safety culture that has resulted in a clean safety record with no lost time incidents or high potential safety incidents since coming on charter.

Employed as a captain assigned to the M/V Norbert Bouziga, a 280 ft. 1,598 GRT OSV with DP 2 capability. During this time the vessel was contracted by Noble, and was assigned to the ENSCO 8501. Responsibilities included: •Voyage planning, in charge of navigational watch, and coordinating all vessel movements.•Operation and Maintenance of the Marine Technologies DP 2 system including daily DP set ups and maneuvering. •Planning and coordination of training and drills, and overall safety of the crew.•Maintenance of all fire-fighting, lifesaving, and GMDSS equipment. •Cargo planning, maintaining vessel stability, ballast operations, and supervising bulk product transfers.

Sailed as 2nd Officer / Navigation and 2nd Officer / Safety onboard SHI new build LNG shuttle and regasification vessels engaged in world-wide trade. Assisted in delivery and start-up of SHI new build GDF SUEZ Cape Ann. These vessels were equipped with a DP 1 Kongsberg K-Pos system for use in offshore submerged turret loading. Responsibilities included:•Voyage planning, and ensuring safety of navigation in coastal waters and high traffic areas around the world.•In charge of charts and publications, navigation equipment, and GMDSS communications.•Operation of the Kongsberg DP system while approaching offshore loading terminal at Neptune Deepwater Port.•Maintenance and inspections of life saving equipment, fire-fighting equipment, and fixed fire-fighting systems.•PIC during LNG loading and discharge operations, and ensuring safety of cargo transfer and maintaining stability.
