As a Managing Director at CHM Global LLC and a Marine Consultant at Charles Taylor plc, I have over Ten years of experience in the marine claim handling industry, providing marine loss adjusting, surveying, and warranty services to various stakeholders in the marine, offshore, energy, and renewable sectors. I am an Associate to the Association of Average Adjusters, Associate Fellow of The Nautical Institute, a Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute, and a Member of the International Institute of Marine Surveying, with qualifications in marine insurance, maritime internal auditing, IHM, and maritime cyber risk management.With a background as a Master Mariner with 15 years of experience at sea, I have a sound knowledge of marine operations, regulations, and safety and a strong sense of duty and professionalism towards my fraternity. I have undertaken rig move warranty attendance on mobile offshore drilling units, marine warranty survey services for major offshore construction projects, and various marine surveys and investigations for P&I clubs, H&M, P&T, and cargo underwriters. I have also contributed to the safety of life at sea by participating in the AMVER system and publishing an article on the topic.
