Oversee day to day operational & commercial issues pertaining to the fleet vessels.• Act as advocate for company’s Safety culture & actively support timely attention to any Safety issue & encourage all levels of the vessel management function to enhance further safety awareness.•Responsible for internal program coordination of operations to ensure contract or charter party compliance &customer satisfaction•Provide oversight for vessel Masters to ensure that voyages are efficiently & safely performed in accordance with signed charter parties including compliance with requirements as stipulated in the CP & Rider Clauses.• Routinely review the vessel Safety committee meeting, Maintaining & Tracking database and initiate timely follow-up of issues identified in the Safety Committee Meeting minutes or by other means brought to the Company's attention.• Support the Fleet Manager in handling & closing out Casualty &/or claims pertaining to P&I or HullMachinery insurance matters.•Responsible for obtaining oil major approval through the successful completion of SIRE vettings at a minimum of every 4 – 6 months.•Ensure procedures for safe loading & discharging are strictly followed.•Carry out Internal audits & Pre Vetting for fleet vessels.•Supports company commitment to ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001 certification•Ensure that the tanker fleet is operated by the standards set forth by OCIMF.•Oversee that vessels are submitting the charterer required reports.•Follow up of vetting inspections & ensure the corrective measures to close out the identified issues in an efficient and cost effective manner•Management of Crewing operations from Ship managers perspective. Responsible for Recruitment, Training, Development and Operations related to the shipping for a fleet of 5 Bulk Carriers & 2 Oil/Chem tankers.•Responsible for the policy making and SMS procedures in line with latest amendments as per International regulations.

• Management head and Full in-charge of the complete vessel. • Served as Master on Product Tanker on Time Charter with Oil Major.• Ensuring that voyage is completed with respect to Charter Party Terms.• Chair the Vessel Management Team along with the Chief engineer on board the ship. • Responsible for the administration and management on board the ship, and implementation of the Company's policy.• Developing deck employees into a proactive team by regularly training and defining clearly the needs and goals of the department and the Organisation.• Managing the operations in close coordination with various departments ashore with high stress on safety standards. • Dealing with all departments in cohesive manner, receiving their feedback and emphasis on high quality standards.• Conducting annual Audits and reviews between inter-departments by interaction with other departments. To present the ship to the external as well as to the internal auditors without any non-confirmatory reports or deficiencies.• Conducting Pre Vetting inspections on board. • Exhibited strong Organisational skills and ability to systematise complex environment, eager in learning concepts, working with different nationalities.

•Sailed in reputed Shipping Companies rising up to the ranks of Chief Officer such as Wallem Ship management , Shell , MMSI•Sailed on various types of Oil tankers such as VLCC’s, Suezmax , Aframax , Panamax & Product Carriers on Worldwide voyages.•As a Senior Management officer managed takeovers of New buildings, Shipyard deliveries, Ship repairs and Dry docks.•Vast experience in leading and managing multiple nationalities in daily and emergency situations. •Able to motivate and lead a team of ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances.
