During my sea gong career, having visited over 300 ports worldwide, I gained valuable insight of shipping trades and practices of most cargoes in the market. In addition, I have periodically assisted my father Capt. Brian Perera who ran an exclusive shipping agency business in Thailand and Sri Lanka from 1985 to 2008, where we were agents for first class European and Scandinavian owners, specialized in breakbulk, heavy lift and project cargoes loading out of Thailand.
