Led the team for commercial operations, fixing of the vessels, In-chartering & Out-chartering the ships, Demurrage, Invoicing, Agency, Bunker Plaaning & Fixing, Monitoring etc.Head of Fleet Personnel Department - Man-Power management of Seafarers for Oil Tanker, Gas Carriers, Chemical Tankers & Bulk Carriers. Leading and motivating six functions -: “Man-Power Management & Resourcing, Training Needs Analysis of Seafarers, Safety & Quality, Vessel Support & Sustainability, Enterprises Resource Planning and Legal Affairs”, in alignment with the company’s values to deliver exemplary performance.• Collaborating with various teams, statutory authorities and departments across the business to develop, promote and foster a safe and efficient culture on-board a fleet of 112 ships, delivering industry-leading results.• Incident response, monitoring and investigation, including analysis of incident statistics and trends, focusing on preventive actions and promoting proactive measures, with a goal to achieve zero incidents and injuries on-board.• Ensuring fleet and office compliance with statutory requirements, industry guidelines and our safety management system through internal and external audits, inspections and surveys to facilitate unrestricted access to business.• Partnering with technical and commercial teams to ensure that vessels are up to the required standards and acceptable to customers, accomplishing industry leading vetting and PSC performance.

• Leading two teams -: the Nautical Training Team as Course Officer to all the nautical courses and Administration Team. Fostered new cadets to become better tomorrow Officers in industry. Monitored vessels operational requirements in order to upgrade training standards of the institute. • Commenced new courses in the Institute amongst which LNG Course as First time in India, in view to cater man-power requirements of SCI LNG Carriers. Revived and upgraded LPG Course, Tanker Safety Course, MEDICARE, PSSR and Nautical Sciences Courses.• Managed the ECDIS transformation for SCI Fleet by commencement of ECDIS Training in SCI-Maritime Training Institute, Mumbai Campus, Instrumental in commencing 2nd Mate Courses and PSCRB in the institute by ensuring compliances at every stage.• Maintained healthy relations with customers, flag administration and other stakeholders by affirming transparent communication, full cooperation, prompt attention and first class service in all matters.• Managed 17 contracts, Labour Issues, Unions, Industrial Relation Issues, procurements, local compliances and routine maintenance / campus upkeep efficiently resulted in making Institute of Center of Excellence, with 98% Credit of CIP Audit.• Leading role in introducing and successfully installing the SOLAR Power Plant of 400 KW approx. making the Institute as First Green Campus in Indian Maritime Industry.

Entrusted with the responsibilities of Port operations and Terminal Management. Vessel turn around management, berthing schedule, Crane and gantries operations, truck movements, Jetty maintenance schedule, surveys n inspections of terminal facilities, Inspection and audit of boats, man-power management, contract negotiations and warehouse management.

Served one of the biggest Port and Terminal along the Indian Coast under Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India and enriched my experience in Port Traffic, Terminal Operations and Management as well as Pilotage.

Served SCI Fleet out at sea as Captain which enhanced my knowledge and over view about the Global Shipping Business and Laws related to Maritime Industry. • Captain/Overall in-charge of a LNG and LPG ships, asset worth ranges from 400 m USDs to 3800 m USDs along with the Cargo.• Responsible for safe and efficient operation of the ships, ensured full cooperation and synergies between the three departments onboard the ship with zero delays or lost time to owners.• Participated in various special projects, shipbuilding, technical management transfers, new deliveries, dockings and repair activities.

• Led multinational teams of more than 30 persons, maintained and managed day to day operations of the ship & planned and executed all cargo operations of the ship.• Commissioned and successfully implemented management systems on various vessels.• Ensured vessel safety and security during vessel transit through pirate infested Gulf of Aden, Malacca Straits etc. Procedures were adopted throughout the field and made part of Best Practices.• Ensured inter-departmental co-operation between the deck department and engine department.• Ensured Safe Navigation, Zero Detention, Successful Vetting of Oil Majors and Cargo Operations of the Vessels employed in.• Trained to be fast learner, disciplined individual, high morale, undisputed integrity and result oriented Merchant Navy Officer.
