• Liaising with internal and external auditors and inspectors
• Communicating with Ferry Advisory Committees and local community members
• Ensuring all safety items addressed appropriately in a timely fashion

• Responsible for safe navigation, loading & discharge of traffic, on a variety of vessels
• In charge of maintaining emergency drills and training onboard.
• Responsible for leading safety meetings and briefings.

• Liaising with Senior Masters to book ORX drills
• Coordinating with various vessels on emergency best practices
• Instructing a variety of crew in fleet policy and procedures
• Updating SEA material to make more relevant
• Facilitating ORX drills throughout the fleet to provide operational expertise

• Initial fitting out of vessel ensuring all items correctly ordered and installed during construction
• During construction and refits, assisted with factory, harbour, and sea acceptance tests
• Wrote the ISM shipboard procedures & onboard emergency response organization
• Wrote the masters decision support system and the SOLAS training manual
• Gained approval from Flag State & Lloyd’s Registry for prototype equipment
• Set up the onboard planned maintenance management system

• Member of the new build project team (Diamond & Sapphire Princess)
