Odfjell is world’s second largest chemical company in the global market for transportation and storage of bulk liquid chemicals, acids, edible oils and other special products.- Prepared and presented HSSE KPI targets to external key stakeholders -Providing management and operational solutions to 15 chemical tankers carrying complex cargoes -Created and managed complex relationship with oil majors such Shell , Exxon Mobil and BP -Prepared trend analysis of the observations given by the oil majors leading to reduction in average observation per ship from -Analyzed risks for vessel’s calling high risk piracy prone areas leading to Zero incidents on board vessels.-Implemented change management process on a new energy efficient chemical tanker resulting in safe operation of the vessels-Organised ,prepared and led training workshops for senior officers covering various topics on management ,vetting and incident investigation

V. Ships Group is the largest provider of third party shipping and offshore services with ship management as its core business. -Prepared company’s chemical tanker manual and developed companies operations /vetting cell for parcel chemical tankers leading to 100 % growth in terms of number of ships-Established good relationship with leading industry players such as STOLT, ODFJELL, TOKYO MARINE, JO tankers and other pool operators-Good understanding of preparing counter claims resulting in savings upto USD 1 million savings for the clients-Developed and structured in house chemical tanker course for seafarer (4 days) and for the Superintendents (2days)

-Led a team of 4 operators and a demurrage executives -Developed procedures for start-up pool operations -Responsible for commercial operation of 10 chemical tankers and always achieved voyage optimization from one port to another

-Served as deck officer and attained highest rank Master Mariner on Chemical (Type II/III stainless steel / Coated), Product and crude oil tankers. Served 3 years as a Master.-Prepared chemical tanker for early loading consisting of complex cleaning resulting in effective cost saving of 750 K for that voyage -Initiated and implemented Total Quality Management and continuous improvements programmes to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and the International Safety Management Code. The project resulted in 300% improvement in the results of external inspections and audits. -Managed operations and profitability of assets in excess of 100 million dollars-Motivated and managed teams of diverse nationalities and cultures-Undertook and coordinated projects of new buildings, ship repairs and new deliveries-Championed start-up of new projects in Japan and South Korea
