As Communications Company Executive Officer, I supervised the execution of the orders, guidance, and intent of the Company Commander, ensuring the timely execution of all Communications Company initiatives. I established and supervised the Communications Company battle rhythm, coordinating with higher and subordinate platoons' battle rhythms for effective planning support, decision making, and other critical functions. Additionally, I facilitated the sustainment of Communications Company by preparing, planning, and supervising the development of Company logistics support for all operations and training events. I established effective liaison exchanges with higher, lower, and adjacent units and other organizations as required. Furthermore, I prioritized the safety, professional, and personal development of Marines, SNCOs, and officers within Communications Company, and supervised personnel administrative management, including daily reports, rosters, augmentations, assignments, and fitness reports, ensuring compliance with regulations.

In my role as a member of the Operations and Integration Branch (OIB), I integrated with inter-service, international, interagency, and civilian personnel to plan and staff concepts of operations in support of United States Central Command (USCENTCOM). I managed and processed emergent requirements related to orders, PLANORDS, EXORDS, and FRAGORDs for GO/FO approval, formalizing tasks to Service Components and Subordinates. Additionally, I served as a USCENTCOM J3 representative to strategic-level planning teams directly supporting the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, and various international, interagency, and DoD personnel. As a Crisis Action Team member, I planned, executed, and monitored requirements in support of all crisis actions across the Area of Responsibility (AOR). Moreover, I served as a command representative to the Joint Staff Global Information Dominance Experiment (GIDE) series and Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC-2) initiatives, functioning as a primary systems integration planner and beta tester in support of JADC-2 and GIDE series evolutions.

As the Operations Officer, I played a pivotal role in ensuring effective communication systems support for the 2d Marine Division. My responsibilities include overseeing the development of communication systems employment plans and logistics support, as well as coordinating supply planning for operational activities. I was tasked with developing comprehensive training plans to ensure readiness, tracking training statistics, and managing the Company's ability to extend C4 services in field environments. Additionally, I supervised various teams, including the Division's Systems Control Center, Information Assurance cell, Systems Planning and Engineering Cell, and Headquarters Battalion Help Desk, ensuring proper network administration, cybersecurity practices, and IT support for all users

As a student at a 38-week resident career level school, I underwent education and training to prepare as a company grade Marine Air Ground Task Forces (MAGTF) officer for service in an expeditionary environment. Throughout the program, I learned, adapted, and applied instruction emphasizing combined arms operations, warfighting skills, tactical decision-making, and MAGTF in expeditionary operations. This included participation in practical exercises and discussions and passing comprehensive assessments covering Warfighting Doctrine, Marine Corps Planning Process, and MAGTF Operations Ashore and Afloat. Additionally, I completed all requirements of the oral and written communications program, participated in the Occupational Field Expansion Course or independent study programs, and assimilated instruction while displaying skills in progressively more challenging leadership and ethical problem-solving situations.

As the Information Systems Security Manager, I was responsible for developing and maintaining the Marine Corps Recruiting Command (MCRC) IA program, which involved identifying IA architecture, requirements, objectives, policies, personnel, and processes. I provided security oversight for MCRC and its subordinate commands, coordinating security measures, analysis, testing, evaluation, accreditation, and review of Information Systems (IS) installations. Additionally, I oversaw the implementation of the Dod IA Certification and Accreditation Process Implementation Plan to ensure compliance with MCEN DAA-directed IA policies and procedures. I ensured that privileged users received the necessary technical or management and IA training, education, and certifications required for their duties. Monitoring compliance and reviewing the results of such monitoring, I reported significant findings to the appropriate authorities. Furthermore, I developed reporting procedures and ensured that security violations and incidents were properly reported to the MCCOG and the DoD reporting chain as required.

As the Communications Officer/ Information Assurance Officer, I served as the expert on all matters related to the effective and efficient employment of the battalion's communications equipment and personnel. I was responsible for the mentorship, guidance, good order, and accountability of each Marine within the Communications Platoon. I supervised the planning, installation, operation, and maintenance of all communications systems during field exercises and deployed operations. Additionally, I ensured the maintenance, readiness, and accountability of all battalion communications equipment. I managed the battalion's use of the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN) to ensure proper utilization and supervised all actions to maintain compliance with cybersecurity policies and orders. Furthermore, I coordinated with higher and adjacent units on all communications issues.

As the Plans Officer, I advised the G-6 Operations Officer and SPE Cell on the status of all communications planning and development in preparation for unit exercises and worldwide deployments. I planned and supervised communications projects as directed by the G-6 Operations Officer. Maintaining an operational knowledge of 2D MLG communications equipment and personnel readiness and availability levels, I assisted the G-6 in tasking support. I established and maintained communications and liaison with the operational planning staffs of senior, adjacent, and subordinate units. Additionally, I supervised and coordinated all communications-related planning conferences to ensure proper requirements assessment and validation, communications planning, and resourcing coordination. I provided operational guidance, direction, and support to Operational Planning Teams (OPTs) and subordinate command S-6s in preparation for exercises and worldwide deployments.

As the 2d MEB G6 Current Operations Officer, I participated in all cross-functional planning efforts with the 2d MEB Command Element staff, including Operational Planning Teams, Operations Orders, Fragmentary Orders, and Standard Operating Procedures. I assisted in planning and coordinating communications support for all deliberate 2d MEB exercises and operations. I coordinated with Major Subordinate Commands and the 8th Communication Battalion to facilitate communications planning and support efforts. Additionally, I synchronized all operational and technical planning efforts with the priorities of the AC/S G6 and G6 Operations Officer. I developed and briefed recommended courses of action pertaining to operational communications requirements to the MEB G6 Operations Officer and MEB AC/S G6. Furthermore, I assisted the G6 Operations Officer in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the G6 section and implementing command, control, communications, and computers plans, performing other tasks as directed by the 2d MEB AC/S G6 Operations Officer.

As the Information Assurance Officer, I advised the AC/S G-6, his staff, and subordinate S-6s on communications and cybersecurity policies. I reviewed and advised the AC/S G-6 on current cybersecurity standard operating procedures, ensuring they were available, utilized, and regularly updated for each Information Technology (IT) resource. I provided input to the AC/S G-6 and conducted reviews of cybersecurity awareness indoctrination and annual refresher training, ensuring completion and documentation at the user level and tailoring training to MLG networks and systems as required. I supervised the management of the cybersecurity program within MLG, assessed its effectiveness, and mitigated deficiencies in accordance with references. Additionally, I ensured that cybersecurity workforce personnel received the required security training commensurate with their duties. I also supervised the management of the MLG's Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process.

I attended the Marine Corps Basic Communications Officer Course From September of 2015 until April 1st 2016. Upon graduation, I was given the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) of 0602 (Communications Officer).

Upon graduation from TBS, I reported to Officer Candidate School as an instructor until it was time to conduct my Permanent Change in Station Move to 29 Palms, CA for Basic Communications Officers course. My roles were to demonstrate proper Marine Corps tactics to Officer Candidates and evaluate their abilities to perform these tasks.

I was a newly commissioned 2ndLt and attended The Basic School in Quantico Va from October of 2014 until May 2015.

I was a MIDN in the VMI NROTC battalion and held a number of positions in the battalion. At the end of my sophomore year, I was awarded my Platoon Leaders Class contract and attended PLC-JR from July - August 2012. I then attended PLC-SR from May - July 2013 and commissioned as a 2ndLt in May 2014.

I was in charge of customer service and equipment maintenance as well as setting up the equipment that the customers needed.
