I was responsible for general office administration duties, plus post and courier services, keeping the stationery stores complete, managing outside contractors and maintaining stocks of consumables such as coffee, tea and milk. I had ownership of the minute keeping processes, e-filing and the archiving processes. I was also available for ad hoc duties to assist the team members with projects. I recently secured a new cleaning company for the office suite, negotiated preferential rates with Jersey Post for FedEx courier services and created DSE (display screen equipment and workstation setup) procedure paperwork for the office.

My responsibility was to provide administrative support for a very effective and dedicated team providing financial services to an ultra high net worth family. In 2018, as a team, we moved away from Intertrust and set up independently as Inpendra Limited. At this point my role expanded hugely as I took over the complete office administration, supporting the team as before but now being responsible for mailroom and facilities as well.

Sealine International Limited went into administration in 2013. The IP is now owned by Hanse Yachts and Sealine motor yachts are now built by Hanse. I was the Sea School Principal and Company Captain for Sealine. It was my responsibility to manage the sea school, selling courses and training customers who were buying new and pre-owned boats from the Sealine dealer network. As the company captain, I assisted many of the group departments: showing new models to the press, testing new designs, customer relations, sea trials for the sales team, deliveries for the sales team and dealer network. My role was busy and important, working both in B2C and B2B environs. I had to be able to communicate successfully with prospective clients one minute and engineers the next. I travelled extensively, particularly to the USA and Europe and I was qualified to the highest degree in the leisure boating industry - Yachtmaster Instructor Power and VHF Assessor. When the company went into administration I moved to Jersey and worked as a freelance captain, running a boat in Italy for a year, before joining Elian (which became Intertrust) in July 2016.

On leaving school, I joined the family retail business with a view to ultimately taking over the running of the business when my parents retired. I was responsible for book-keeping and payroll (Sage software), stock ordering and stock control, day to day running of one of the two retail units, facilities and personnel. Eventually, it became obvious to me that retailing music was a declining business proposition and I determined to leave the business and move in an entirely different direction. I moved to the south coast and started my training in the boating industry in August 1998. By 2002, I was Principal of Sealine Sea School.
