SpaceX selected the Hornet pod for testing and evaluation at the Tesla electric vehicle development center in Los Angeles during August 2017. Chief of engineering and inspections staff for a Washington DC based consulting firm. Key leader for the construction of the Cell Tower network in the Washington DC metro area. Curt designed and built Cell Towers during the “Can you hear me now?” era when 3G and 4G cellular service was activated. He is responsible for the construction of over 300 cell towers and roof top antennas that serve the Washington DC Capitol region. Curt led a team of engineers and technicians to accomplish this program. In this role I supervised staff designing major infrastructure projects including cell phone systems, towers, deep excavations, drilled shaft foundations, roads, retaining walls, and site grading. I was also responsible for completing hurricane damage assessment of television broadcast towers in Miami and Orlando following natural disasters. This work involved climbing 2,000 foot tall steel towers and surveying concrete foundations to map and document hurricane damage to be repaired. My responsibilities also included leading a staff of engineers and technicians to design reinforcements, draft construction project plans, and write specifications. I was required to frequently present proposed engineering projects before government hearings, utility owners, and contractors concerning proposed utility development projects.
