Master (Captain) of several Support Ships in various geographic locations around the world.Duties include, but are not limited to:Overseeing day-to-day operations and activities of the ship; maintaining regulatory compliance with respect to USCG, ABS, & IMO requirements, as well as foreign governments and their jurisdictional waters; effectively applying and enforcing company standards & policies; ensuring vessel maintains compliance with MARPOL regulations; coordinating vessel load-outs & ensuring proper vessel stability during load-outs; promoting a culture of safety; interfacing with clients/vendors; managing the safe navigation of vessel in both open ocean and navigable channels; mentoring and developing crew through routine training and drills; maintaining ships logs with respect to operations, discharges, garbage, and hazardous cargo handling; maintaining vessel budget and coordinating reception of supplies.
