Throughout my experiences inside and outside of the classroom, I have learned valuable information that will use to my advantage in the workforce. I am someone who enjoys working with others and taking on new tasks to challenge myself. I thrive when I am faced with an obstacle that is demanding because of my ability to think out-of-the box and pay attention to detail. I believe that my leadership and interpersonal skills will be a great desire towards companies in the business world. I have demonstrated these capabilities throughout my experiences, which have led me to become the confident person that I am today. Furthermore, during my time as Vice President of my fraternity, I displayed the attribute of leadership. For example, I was instructed to oversee the financials of a large organization and the duties of members who serve a role with nationals. As Vice President, I portrayed a professional representation towards the CEO and President of our fraternity. In addition, the executive board and I had to work with the national representatives of our fraternity, who are based in Chicago, to be Nationally recognized. To achieve national recognition, we had to complete benchmarks, develop a presentation, and attend weekly zoom meetings with our national executive officer.On the other hand, I have showcased my ability to communicate well with my peers during my time at Jones Beach State Park. As revenue foreman, part of my job was to train new employees to perform certain tasks inside and outside of the office. In addition, I worked with my executive advisor to balance our financials and manage deposits out of the profit drawer to be shipped to the main business office. I also communicated with employees outside of our office to assist them in work-related problems, such as providing employee information or voiding a sale on a sale credit card machine that is linked to a laptop. Additionally, I worked with other employees who work in dining halls or concession stands to conduct audits.As you can see, I can apply these valuable skills in the business world. I am someone who will always walk into the workplace with a smile to encourage a warm work environment. Most importantly, as previously mentioned, I will be able to use these attributes to produce at a high level at any potential job or internship.
