Co-founded Newcomer Kitchen in 2016, Newcomer Kitchen invited Syrian refugee women to cook in local commercial kitchens to enhance their social and economic integration. It emerged into a successful social enterprise offering cooking workshops and catering to corporate customers and educational institutions. In 2019 Newcomer Kitchen launched the "Willing to Work" facilitated entrepreneurship program training newcomer women to start their own food businesses. Working with a team of dedicated staff and volunteers Newcomer Kitchen has had remarkable success in involving newcomers and local community to create opportunities for shared knowledge and skills development. Newcomer Kitchen offers pop-ups, catering, and team building workshops with the goal of providing meaningful employment for refugee women.

V3 Corporation was established as a custom semiconductor design company that started in Toronto, Canada. It partnered with AMD, Intel and National Semiconductor to produce memory controller chips to enhance performance of new classes of processors for major semiconductor companies. After several years in the industry it became a publicly reporting US company listed on the NASDAQ. It was subsequently acquired by Quick Logic Corporation of Sunnyvale California.
