SchoolPower has recently created a Family Resource Center. We are working to build on our current resources in order to provide all LBUSD families with personalized assistance to build community and equity. As a Family Support Specialist, I work directly with the families and manage our case load. I also help with the strategic planning of the Family Resource Center.

Interview, hire and schedule up to 40 staff on 24 hour shift schedules. Responsible for ensuring full FTE count at all times.Serve as first point of contact for all Program Staff working in our facilities.Manage the day-to-day operations of 5 out patient residential treatment homes, ensuring all clients get to appointments on time, drives are scheduled, and client admit and discharge smoothly.Work with direct care staff, medical providers, nursing team, and directors to ensure all medication administration is completed properly, clients are transported to hospitals safely, and work with hospital staff to determine next steps.Navigate the ADP Time Management module for payroll, approving/denying staff overtime, manage timecards of supervises, and minimize the organizations payroll liability through efficient monitoring.Collaborate with the Compliance Department in order to provide various documentation and information needed to maintain Community Care Licensure.Developed and now lead our Client Coordinator Coaching Program. Ensure all direct care staff are adequately trained, supported, and contribute positivity to our team culture. Adequate training results in high proficiency in the ability to to ACA block, deescalate tense situations, and awareness/sensitivity to clients that are actively psychotic.Ensure smooth operation of program policies and procedures, client control and supervision, compliance activities, and basic Human Resources functions.

Served as lead mentor for student-athletes with emphasis on personal growth and development needs including: psychological support, early access to mental and physical healthcare, academic tutoring, and time-management skills.Worked with lead sports psychologist to provide regular education and status up-dates to head coaching staff related to current student-athlete mental health issues.Lead recruiter for Pacific-West region including duties such as: travel to high-school games and tournaments, in-person and virtual meetings with potential players, and social media outreach.Coordinated team logistics for a total of 40 student-athletes for regular practice schedules as well as travel timelines for biweekly tournaments.Built 30-page scouting reports on each of 50 conference and non-conference opponents for weekly game preparation.Maintained team compliance reports for NCAA and Ivy League requirements for submission to athletic director.

Women’s 16-18 years & Under club teams. Design training program; oversee assistant coaches; train assistant coaches; communicate with parents; coordinate travel and team bonding activities; guide athletes through college recruiting process.

Swim coach for the club team ages 8-18 years. Lesson Coordinator ages 6 months-18 years. Design training program; oversee assistant coaches; train coaches and lesson staff; communicate with parents; coordinate travel and team bonding activities.

Assistant Men’s and Women’s High School Water Polo Coach and Swim Coach. Assist in designing training plan; create swim sets, passing and shooting drills, position specific work, skill work, etc.; teach players game strategy/plays; help to coordinate travel and team bonding activities. Head Coach JV games and Varsity games when Head Coach at National Team

Work with at-risk youth at 24/7 Youth Shelter, in short-term crisis intervention program, children ages 11-17. Supervise youth, lead educational and recreational activities. Prepare meals, complete chores, and maintain facility. Answer crisis calls. Provided one-on-one psychological and emotional support for at-risk youth ages 11-17 as a member of the short-term crisis intervention program. Answered crisis calls, supervised youth, and provided social enrichment through recreational activities. Reduced the stigma of mental health services by providing education through storytelling and seminars.
