At Alberta Energy, my work spans a variety of files, including market access, pipelines, minerals, royalties, coal policy and ESG. I enjoy working my colleagues across the department, in addition to promoting cross-government collaboration on projects, such as the Global Energy Show, North America’s leading energy conference and exhibition. I also lead media and social media monitoring for issues related to the ministry. I am experienced in planning and executing media events, including embargoed events and technical briefings. I continue to write and edit communications materials and tools, including communications strategies, speeches, key messages, and web content.

Tourism duties were added to my responsibilities. My priority project was Alberta Open Farm Days in 2019.

During my time with the department, I provided strategic communications planning and advice to my clients, including initiating a digital solution for trade show registration. I built strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders. I coordinated booth designs and marketing materials for international trade shows. I also planned and executed communications strategy for ministerial missions, including Alberta's largest trade delegation to date. Other duties included managing the ministry's Twitter and LinkedIn accounts and providing support for international office accounts. I also organized media events and supported the minister at key events. In addition, I participated on internal committees, such as the the United Way Committee and the Management Engagement working group.

- Audited and reconciled previous day’s cash sales and counted cash for deposit- Prepared cash bags for next business day- Resolved customer complaints- Performed receptionist, administrative and sales associate duties- Provided technical support for employees on the sales floor

- Develop, write and test the Inventory Procedure- Inventory collections in Extraction, Upgrading and Utilities Information Centres- Catalogue library materials according to an established system- Maintain quality records through verification, checking against hardcopy data- Patron assistance
