Protecting the rights, education, and well-being of Afghan women and girls is paramount.Voices Unveiled is committed to providing a secure online educational platform for women in Afghanistan, focusing on women's studies and mental health. We utilize digital tools and platforms to facilitate communication, learning, and security in safe, interactive virtual environments. By bridging the gaps created by physical barriers and societal restrictions, we empower women to pursue their aspirations, reshape their futures, and lead healthier, more fulfilling lives despite the challenges they face.Our program has a proven track record of delivering measurable positive impacts on participants' mental health, morale, and motivation. With a compassionate and talented team boasting diverse skills and networks, we navigate the complexities of the crisis with sensitivity and effectiveness.Since our launch in Feb. 2023, we've assisted over 150 women ages 14-40 in cities across Afghanistan, staying attuned to their needs and priorities to accurately address their greatest challenges. Additionally, our compassionate community and network of sponsors, donors, and mentors provide crucial support, ensuring a holistic approach to empowerment and support. Directed a 10 Day Youth-Exchange Theater Project for 30 college students and graduates from 9 nations in Europe. Responsibilities included project orientation design and facilitation, stage direction and choreography, leading participants through a self-designed process of writing and staging a full-length, original, educational performance exploring Racial Stereotypes, Gender Roles and Diversity. Theater and dance performances were presented to 600 public and private school students in Turkey ages 9-14. I received public recognition from the Head of University and the Town Mayor for my work as director, instructor and choreographer.
