A great opportunity had arisen for me to become a director which allowed me to deal with the general overall running of this business. There were 25 machines which ranged from micro diggers, dumpers to 5 tonne excavators. An exciting promotion for me; I took over the Dennistoun branch and managed a team of 5 people. I used many of my skills as a Negotiator as this was more of a dual role and I developed many new skills as a manager as I was placed in a training programme. I would negotiate offers, deal with general enquiries, problem solve, take charge, drive my team, and work to deadlines and targets.

I began my career at Countrywide as Sales Negotiator in the Paisley branch where my passion for property continued to unfold; my duties included dealing with general enquiries, arranging viewings, handling a portfolio of properties, negotiating offers and general admin work. Shortly after this I was promoted to a Branch Manager in their Kilmarnock office where I expanded my current skills and managed a team of 2 people.

My passion for property began here, where I was employed as a letting agent within Penny Lane Homes. My duties include dealing with public/landlord/contractor enquiries, letting valuations, negotiations, inventories, check out/periodic inspections, property viewings and any other administrative duties.

I worked part time as a sales assistant in the footwear department, alongside studying at school then moved to a more advance admin role. My duties included dealing with the public, helping customers, dealing with telephone enquiries, processing deliveries, serving customers on the till and cashing up the daily takings at the end of the working day.
