A serious lover of all things tourism, I'm passionate about the visitor journey. It is with this passion and the ability to get the best out of stakeholder engagement that my own journey has led to outstanding collaborative success working with Australian tourism destinations such as Mudgee NSW, Red Centre NT, The Kimberley WA, Cradle Mountain TAS, QLD Islands, Mossman Gorge and The Daintree QLD. Previous roles as CEO Mudgee Region Tourism, and Director Guest Experience at Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia, prepared me for the challenge and opportunity to re-awaken awareness of tourism destinations and brands ready to boost their profile and heighten consumer conversion.Not one to let any unique opportunity pass me by, since relocating from Sydney to the small heritage village of Hill End in 2014, I also created a popular escape-from-the-city country retreat ‘The Guesthouse’; and am Deputy Chair of the National Parks + Wildlife Service Blue Mountains Area Regional Advisory Committee.During my time at Mudgee Region Tourism, I led the organisation and destination to multi-award winning fame – most notably taking out top gong at the inaugural 2021 Australia’s Top Tourism Town Awards and again in 2022. Two consecutive wins secured Mudgee as the first town to receive Hall of Fame honours.Amidst the demands of my bustling role as a tourism CEO, I embarked on a transformative quest in 2021. My burning desire? To revolutionise the support offered to busy Australian tourism professionals.I recognised the work/life imbalance that often plagues the industry, and an epiphany struck. The constraints of time within tourism roles can lead to missed opportunities, and I saw this as an opportunity itself.And so, the idea of Hipscotch was born.As an innovative force in the industry, Hipscotch brings a wealth of senior-level experience to the table.
