Utilizing my excellent organizational skills, I was able to oversee multiple projects at a time and ensure their completion by the required deadline. For each project, I was responsible for curating various works of art and compiling them into a Google Slides presentation which myself alongside my colleagues would then share with our clients. Being an adaptable communicator was crucial to my success in this position as we shared our proposal with clients via email or in a Zoom meeting. I was also responsible for overseeing the acquisition of the artwork chosen by our clients, occasionally commissioning local artists to help realize our clients’ vision. Due to the remote nature of the position, I often worked independently and was required to take appropriate initiative on certain tasks as well as be a creative problem-solver.

As a sales associate at Madewell, I was responsible for assisting customers in sizing, styling, and cashiering as well as achieving a daily sales goal for each shift I worked. I assisted managers in counting the cash registers at the beginning and end of each day, as well as keeping track of the deposits. The sales associate position at Madewell was highly collaborative. Team work and leadership were required everyday. I was required to fulfill leadership positions, often given the responsibility to train new hires regarding sales techniques and strategies as well as register training. In addition, I was responsible for organizing the merchandise in the store, both on the floor and in the warehouse. I contributed to the installation of displays throughout the store as well as the layout of new merchandise which required me to think strategically in terms of how to best market the product based on its placement and display.

As the Research and Interpretation Intern for the Curatorial Department at the Museum of Modern Art, I was responsible for the development of the Ambassador Guides for the docents of the museums. I compiled research on the upcoming exhibitions which included information on the artists, their work, and often times the historical or cultural influences of the exhibition. The Ambassador Guides were distributed to every employee of the museum in order to become familiar with the upcoming exhibition. I worked closely with the other members of the curatorial team and assisted to the development of the exhibitions.
