 Interviewed, trained, and managed a team of research assistants. Wrote and edited protocols for a 40-person trial funded by the NHLBI. Prepared and submitted IRB documents, including initial submissions, amendments, and personnel changes. Created data collection and management databases using REDCap and Excel. Recruited and screened participants for a multi-year study funded by the NIDDK. Consented participants and ensured the protection of their rights via informed consent and compliance with HIPPA requirements. Prepared and shipped biological specimens in compliance with EHRS guidelines. Lead a program evaluation of a youth sports initiative entitled “Game on Philly,” including scheduling and conducting qualitative interviews with program coaches and administrators from the School District of Philadelphia.

 Administered a behavioral intervention aimed at increasing sleep and other health behaviors in school aged children. Configured and scored objective measures of sleep and activity across multiple time points. Recruited participants for three studies funded by the NIH, NIHLBI, and the American Diabetes Association, respectively. Coordinated community outreach events to assist with participant recruitment. Assisted in supervising and training research assistants and student workers. Collected, scored, and cleaned data. Consented participants to three separate studies and ensured the protection of their rights via informed consent and compliance with HIPAA requirements.
