Designer | Communication Design2023 BA (Hons) Communication Design graduate at Gray's School of Art, RGU in Aberdeen.Within my studio practice, I enjoy a versatile approach with a focus on illustration and graphic design. I value open communication and engaging collaboration within my practice to create honest designs that enhance the look and feel of spaces and products whilst communicating a message or story.Each of my designs start on paper through the different shapes, patterns and textures that inspire each project to bring its story to life. Having a love for traditional drawings and collage, I combine this with the precision of digital to create true designs.Working on one major and three minor projects during my honours year allowed me to showcase my response to a range of communicative briefs. The focus of my major project ‘Blue Toon Routes’ stems from my childhood living in Peterhead. The aim is to positively change the perception of the town from an early age through a range of mural concepts for a local primary school and the wider community that recognise the beauty and historical background of the town.
