Led multiple cross-functional engineering teams, both customer-funded and IRAD, managing through challenges due to resource constraints, funding availability, and new technology for key roadmap applications.

Also demonstrated leadership growth by performing a stretch assignment of Engineering Project Manager during this time for a key 'bread and butter' project.

Product Engineer with design responsibility for shifters in the automotive industry. Supervised the testing, worked FMEAs and requirements. A large portion of this role involved interfacing with customers, including frequent phone conferences and traveling to Europe for design reviews and discussion of requirements in person at facilities in London and Cologne.

Responsible for qualification, environmental, vibration, strength, cyclic, temperature, surface contaminant and various other testing of automotive shifters. Designed and manually constructed test box and setup for each of the tests I performed. Was instrumental in gaining QS9000 certification for the laboratory, working with the auditor and performing demos of key test procedures.
