Responsible for organizing and delivering regular bookkeeping duties including approval of invoices and data entry. Perform monthly financial analysis, prepare and present financial reports. Prepare the annual charity return and assist in budget preparation.

Successfully developed internal controls to formalize appropriate financial systems. Approve biweekly timesheets and bill payments. Prepare monthly financial analysis and present the reports, as well as ad hoc governance and human resource duties in collaboration with 11 directors in accordance with bylaws and policy. Assist with annual budget preparation, and act as interim bookkeeper

Reporting to senior management (CA) responsibilities included:• Year-end file preparation to produce Audited Financial Statements • Year-end file preparation to produce Notice to Reader Financial Statements for Corporations• Bookkeeping including biweekly payroll and report analysis for various small businesses and farms• Tax Preparation for individuals, partnerships, farms and corporations
