Develop formal and informal trainings, events, resources, and other engagement opportunities for parents, families, educators, community, focused on infusing learning opportunities into everyday experiences. Represent WXXI and WXXI Education at community events; promoting the use of PBS’ educational programs and resources with families, educators, members.

RCSD Monroe High School

Providing developmentally and academically appropriate support and skills practice to Rochester City School District students who have not passed the NYS Regents Integrated Algebra test.

Prepared classroom for the first day of school, planned lessons, assessed student progress, and performed all other daily classroom responsibilities within a regular classroom setting. Taught students with a wide range of needs, abilities and behavioral problems. Worked the Great Beginnings Program with a speech pathologist, special education teacher.

Worked collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to plan cross-curricular activities, lessons and units. Implemented lessons and units in science, mathematics, literacy, reading, social studies, and other content areas. Participated in daily team planning to create plans, address academic and social issues, integrate activities across curriculum areas.

Collaborated with summer camp staff to create and develop age-appropriate activities and schedules for early childhood campers. Collaborated with other early childhood teachers to plan and schedule daily activities as well as address state-mandated safety adult-to-child ratios.
