Currently working as a Cardiac ICU Physical therapist for Mount Sinai. Experience with all cardiac procedures including total artificial hearts, and centrimag L/RVADS. Before moving to New York, I spent 4.5 years working at Parkland Hospital, a level 1 trauma center. For over a year i worked as Parkland's sole Physical Therapist in the SICU instituting the "early mobility" part of the ICU liberation program. This is a nation wide program aimed at decreasing hospital length of stay, decreasing delirium and improving the overall ICU experience. I also worked at Parkland Memorial Hospital (NICU Level 3) as a Neonatal Physical Therapist for 1 year. I have experience in acute care ICU’s: surgical, medicine, burn, and neurology. Other experience includes acute care orthopedics, trauma, and neurosurgery. I also worked PRN for Therapy 2000 a home health pediatric company for 2.5 years. Here I was able to see the children's transition from the hospital to the home.
