I am an environmental educator, outdoor interpreter, and conservationist living in Reno, Nevada. I recently became the Desert Research Institute’s Curriculum and Training Specialist, and have previously worked for several environmental nonprofits, state and federal agencies, and outdoor media companies across the United States. During my graduate studies, I've conducted research projects on urban birdwatchers, environmental education programs, and microplastics. I'm passionate about STEAM education, inclusivity in the outdoors, and building stronger connections between local communities and nature. In my free time, I'm an avid hiker, birdwatcher, and reader.
