• Launched and managed PEOPLE.com’s Twitter, the no. 1 magazine Twitter account at more than 5 million followers. Under my direction, the Twitter account has won Advertising Age’s Media Vanguard Award for Best Consumer Magazine Twitter Strategy and the Min Award for Best Use of Twitter.• Launched and manged the editorial direction for all other social media properties for PEOPLE.com (Facebook, Tumblr, Google Plus, Pinterest, Instagram and Foursquare) and consulted on the social strategies for PEOPLE’s other brands, StyleWatch, PeoplePETS and Moms & Babies.• Editorial lead for all marketing initiatives on social media.• Developed partnership with Vevo for co-branded playlists.• Developed and delivered unique editorial content around sales team initiatives, such as Girls’ Just Wanna Have Fun (originally sold to ABC Family).• Delivered unique social media campaigns around key print franchises (such as Sexiest Man Alive on Facebook). • Wrote and top edited signature features, including the weekly Star Tracks gallery, Quiz and Celebs Uncensored. • Generated one-off viral features (examples: Pop Quiz: Gossip Girl or Golden Girl? and Little Women … and Their Big Men).• Coordinated with news team to generate timely features, such as Will & Jada’s Rise to Ultimate Power Couple (amid rumors of a breakup) and Tom & Katie’s Whirlwind Courtship (after their split).• Top edited and managed Caught in the Act, and all copy for PEOPLE.com’s video channel.• Managed and acted as editorial voice for live blogs for key events, such as Academy Awards and the Grammys). • Managed the production of PEOPLE.com’s inaugural year-end package.• Coordinated with print team to create special editorial packages for key PEOPLE franchises (examples: Sexiest Man Alive, Most Beautiful).Promoted from Specials Editor in May 2009
