On my seventh year of teaching experience, five in year 6, one in year five and currently in year 3. Taught supply for a month - loved the flexibility, versatility and experience of different schools. I'm passionate about teaching reading and writing and want to incorporate creative ways of teaching the mechanics of reading and writing through purposeful modelled writing alongside shared writing and showcasing the editing process to successfully publish pupils' work. I've completed training for Pie Corbett's Talk for Writing, Alan Peat exciting sentences and Jane Considine Write stuff. I've experienced two Ofsted inspections, enjoyed two writing moderations, taught virtually during a pandemic and experienced a wide range of school types; learning new behaviour management styles, demographic changes and observing a vast range of different teaching styles. Always happy to help and eager to learn more as I go!
