Cara started her career in the tax profession with Liberty Tax, while pursuing her BA in Accounting at Seattle University in Seattle Washington. At Liberty Tax, she controlled all tax interviews/preparations/filings for sole proprietors and small businesses. Following graduation, she moved on to a position as Payroll Tax Accountant in a corporate setting for Starbucks Coffee Company in Seattle Washington where she oversaw the reconciliation/filings/payments to multiple states/locals, including federal filing/payments. During her time at Starbucks, she discovered the unique struggles small business owners face and made the decision to start her own business consulting and preparing taxes for small business and individuals, including IRS audits, “I understand the unique struggles small business owners faces, it goes beyond simply keeping the books, also recognizing the tax implications for each transaction and giving advice on what I can do to make it better for you and your company”.
