Exploring what makes data science effective in the world of healthcare to improve the health of all who come through the doors of SSM. With a background in epidemiology and interest in systems thinking, I enjoy investigating every piece of what makes a model impactful and evaluating this impact. My time at SSM is spent doing just that. Building models, evaluating limitations and benefits, and monitoring their implementation. Currently, I am also exploring how to identify areas of greatest potential for impact or system dynamics that hinder the ability of a tool to leave its full impact on the outcome of interest.
