Summit is building a mountain town around the spirit of innovation in the heart of Utah's Wasatch Mountains. Summit Powder Mountain aims to rethink the great American mountain town around a community focused on innovation, entrepreneurship, arts, and altruism. Tucked on the southern side of Powder Mountain, in the town of Eden, Utah, it’s a new kind of neighborhood, where friends, family, and the change makers of today and tomorrow gather in an environment created to catalyze personal and collective growth.• Directed 40+ hosted weekends with 100-200 participants, multiple locations, food & beverage, speakers, music; trained and managed 40+ support staff members in their operations roles • Developed the structure of a 120-person membership program for landowners; directly managed and trained employees in the membership and custom events program on a day-to-day basis• Implemented a custom retreat program for visiting corporations and non-profits and managed all on-site logistics• Administered Summit’s HR department for seven months, onboarded 15 employees• Assisted in setting digital strategy with our Director of Social Media - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn

• Structured and launched this venture with the CEO of Bisnow in March 2012• Researched and built a database of over 200 venues to find a property well-suited for the events• Managed and maintained the budget and tracked sales• Drove contract negotiations which resulted in a reduced food & beverage minimum, discounted menu pricing, corkage on outside liquor and donated sponsor food products, and additional staff/attendee rooms at a reduced rate• Managed all logistics – staffing, production, speakers, off-site activities, transportation – while also directing an on-site staff of 20+ members

• Coordinated 8-12 events per month for between 200-1000+ attendees• Secured venues, A/V, caterers, drove contract negotiation, coordinated event logistics, handled sponsor needs, managed ticket sale tracking, and oversaw attendee customer service• Played an instrumental role in the development, training and management of new event coordinators• Spearheaded new initiatives to enhance and elevate the overall event experience• Managed social media and increased the brand’s Twitter by 83%
