Dr. Cara Cochran has over thirty-five years' experience in education, including adult education, undergraduate and graduate programs, counselor education, and higher education administration. Her administrative experience includes leadership in academic affairs, institutional effectiveness, faculty development, strategic planning, accreditation, state authorization, and policy and procedure development and implementation. Holding licenses as both a professional counselor and marriage and family therapist, Dr. Cochran is also an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) and an AAMFT approved supervisor. Dr. Cochran is a much sought-after consultant in the areas of higher education administration, professional ethics, and faith-based organizational management. Her teaching experience has been primarily at the graduate level in the areas of professional ethics, supervision, marriage and family courses, and theological integration in counselor education.With a relational leadership style and focus on communication and character Dr. Cochran has been afforded opportunities to serve as an administrator, consultant, speaker, mentor, and educator in multiple higher education and faith-based organizations.
