I have been working in the education field for seven years now. I began substitute teaching in the North Arlington Public School District in 2016, then, once I graduated Montclair State University with my B.S. in Health and Physical Education as well as my teaching certification, I began working as a certified Health & P.E. teacher. I am a very motivated, positive, and enthusiastic individual who takes pride in getting things done. I am extremely passionate about what I do, which shines through my teaching on a daily basis. One of my biggest strengths is my people skills, which allows me to communicate effectively, as well as in a friendly way. Over my minimal years of experience, I have learned the importance of an engaging, effective education, as well as how to take initiative and execute my job effectively.I am currently finishing up my Master's of Education in Teacher Leadership through the American College of Education. Prior to this program, I completed a Master's of Education in Health and Wellness Education in order to further my education and expertise in the content area that I teach. These degrees/programs not only helped me become a better leader, but they provided me with the tools to help those around me become better versions of themselves, which in turn has a positive impact on students. I could not be more excited to use the knowledge and resources that I am taking away from these programs to improve my education and career.
